In this one day course, we will move from some fundamentals of drawing display letters, letter anatomy, how to render them with a brush and paint and then how to start applying 'block', shading, cast shadows and bevels.
Held at Lightspace, a photography studio and event space in Meanwood, the course is suitable for all skill levels and would particularly suit those interested in type design, murals or people keen to add some flair to existing lettering skills.
All materials as well as tea, coffee and snacks will be provided. The day will be a mix of drawing at tables and painting at easels.
